ESPN Digital Reaches 91 Million Unique Visitors in June; Snatches Largest U.S. Sports Category Lead

ESPN Digital reached 91.0 million unique visitors (up +21% YOY) in June for its largest U.S. sports category lead ever over No. 2 at +56%. It was also ESPN’s seventh straight record-setting monthly reach.

Other June highlights include:

  • ESPN Digital ranked as the No. 1 U.S. digital sports property in June across every key metric, as well as all key demographics, – fueled by audience expansion among younger and female fans. This includes persons 13-24 (+50% YOY), all females (+24%), and men 13-24 (+58%).
  • The ESPN app was once again ranked as the No. 1 sports app in the U.S., attracting 20.5 million unique visitors – its second-largest audience ever – and 1.8 billion minutes, up +26% and +48%, respectively YOY.
  • ESPN Digital was No. 1 in total minutes with 5.3 billion, which was 2.8 billion more than No. 2 Yahoo! NBC Sports (2.5 billion).
