SVG Australia Summit Canceled; Integrated into SVG Virtual Series

Due to the COVID-19 crisis the in-person 2020 SVG Australia Summit will be postponed to a 2021 date but SVG is committed to celebrating Australian sports technology innovation and seeks to introduces it to rest of the world later this year by having experts in sports production in Australia become part of its other virtual events.
“We are disappointed that we won’t be able to bring together the Australian sports community the way we have the past two years,” says Ken Kerschbaumer, SVG, Editorial Director. “But with many of our events going virtual this summer we plan on bringing experts from Australia into those events and also invite everyone in Australia and New Zealand to sign up for those events.”
The Virtual Series of events is designed to allow the sports production community to come together and learn from each other. Topics will include At Home Production, Esports, Venue Operations, and Collegiate Sports Production, Audio, and Sports Content Management.
“We look forward to having a chance to hold the SVG Australia Summit in the future and we will everyone who planned on joining us good health as the industry and the world grapple with the Coronavirus and its impact on our world,” says Kerschbaumer.
