SVG SportsTech On Demand: Movicom's Greg Salman Outlines New Upgrades to Vast Aerial Camera Systems

Our Ken Kerschbaumer sat down with Greg Salman, COO, Movicom, about the company’s efforts.
Movicom is a developer and manufacturer focusing on robotic and mechatronic equipment dedicated to special cameras used in live broadcasting, outside, or studio production. In this interview, Salman outlines new products in the company’s Robycam line-up, including the Robycam Studio, an indoor cable camera system designed for studio installation, a new longer/faster point-to-point cable camera system for skiing/extreme sports named RobyLine, and new wireless Ref and Umpire Cams for field sports. In addition, Salman talks about recent work in sporting events with AR graphics, like the ISL, rugby, FINA, and IBU events.
