Our Ken Kerschbauer sat down with Eileen Valois, SVP, sports & fan entertainment, PRG, about the company’s efforts.
Like all companies, PRG has been working through ways they can pivot across the business in their response to the coronavirus. For sports, they’ve put together a few concepts and services to help teams drive engagement with their fans. In this interview, Valois talks through the empty stadium and arena environment as teams return to the field of play, gamification to assist professional athletes and their esports pop-up leagues, and experiential activations in dark stadium spaces as a way to safely connect the communities and put some of their people back to work.
