Save the Date: 2020 SVG Venue Summit Dissects Production in a COVID-19 World (Aug. 26-27)

When the COVID-19 pandemic forced the shutdown of all professional sports in the United States, in-venue production was forever changed. Now, as sports make their eventual comeback, how will this sector of the industry respond to this setback? Amidst all of this uncertainty, the two-day 2020 SVG Venue Summit: Virtual Series will bring the community together to take a closer look into some of the newest structures being built, how professionals can continue to innovate in this new normal, and what’s to come in the future.

On Day 1, attendees will get a behind-the-scenes tour of the first home of the Las Vegas Raiders, Allegiant Stadium, and break down the possibility of the reimagined control room, how teams continued to generate content, and new videoboard technologies that are coming down the pipeline.

On Day 2, the Texas Rangers highlight their new IP control room and other amenities included in Globe Life Field, how the fan experience may change with empty seats, and members of both the Los Angeles Rams’ and Los Angeles Chargers’ video departments give a detailed preview of what’s expected in Year 1.

If you wish to volunteer as a speaker, don’t hesitate to reach out directly to SVG Venue Program Director Kristian Hernandez at [email protected]. If you are a vendor who wants to participate, contact Rob Payne ([email protected]) or Andrew Gabel ([email protected])
