HOF 2020 Inductee Sit-Down: James Brown
Story Highlights
Sports Video Group and the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame held a small virtual reception last December where previous Hall of Famers and the voting committee had a chance to welcome the newbies and celebrate via Zoom. At the center of the ceremony was a series of interviews with the members of the class of 2020, and today, we have James Brown, the face of NFL Today on CBS Sports. In conjunction with the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame, please donate to the Sports Broadcasting Fund to help those in our industry that are in need.
During this chat James discusses his career and the meaning behind his “love is a choice” philosophy. A three-time Emmy-Award winner, Brown has hosted the network’s pregame show for its coverage of Super Bowl 50 (2016), Super Bowl XLVII (2013), Super Bowl XLIV (2010), and Super Bowl XLI (2007). Brown also served as host of Fox NFL Sunday for 12 years prior to returning to CBS Sports in 2006. This weekend, he will host a record 10th Super Bowl Pregame Show.
