PokerGO Names Mori Eskandani as New President, Undergoes Company Rebrand
Story Highlights
PokerGO has appointed industry veteran Mori Eskandani as president. For the last four years, Eskandani has brought his vast experience and expertise to PokerGO. As president, he will continue to do so while also leading the company into new ventures in 2021, as PokerGO continues to deliver poker’s most world-renowned live events, along with original content around the sport and more.
Eskandani has spent over 20 years producing poker for streaming and television, establishing himself as an integral part of the sport’s increasing reach. As the producer of some of the most popular poker television programs like Poker After Dark, High Stakes Poker, and the National Heads-Up Poker Championship, Eskandani is a formative figure in the game’s history on television. Prior to his move into poker content production, Eskandani was a successful professional high stakes poker player. To recognize Eskandani’s substantial contribution to the poker industry and game itself, he was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2018.
“It’s been incredibly rewarding to work alongside PokerGO for the last four years as they’ve transformed the fan experience for all things poker,” he says. “I’m honored to expand my role within PokerGO as we reach new heights with ambitious endeavors that will continue to connect the worldwide community of poker players and fans alike.”
Along with a slate of new endeavors and announcements planned, PokerGO will also undergo a rebrand. Previously held under the Poker Central parent company umbrella, within the next few months, the company will be transitioning exclusively to PokerGO, where viewers will continue to have access to premier live events around the world, along with poker-focused original series and industry news, under the new leadership of Mori Eskandani. As part of the rebrand, PokerGO will be rolling out a redesign and significant enhancements to their products and services in the coming months.
