At the 2021 MLB All-Star Game, Major League Baseball teamed up with T-Mobile to launch MLB AR, a new augmented reality app for fans to engage with during the Home Run Derby. The innovative, interactive experience was a hit and now it’s a Sports Emmy Award winner. MLB AR | VR Apps took home the statuette for Outstanding Digital Innovation.
