DNA Studios Chooses Grass Valley LDX Series Cameras For Truck Upgrades

DNA STUDIOS, LLC, a Humble, Texas, based mobile truck and studio provider, has chosen Grass Valley LDX HD camera chains for their mobile fleet upgrades.

The deployment is part of a broader 5-truck upgrade this year that allows DNA Studios to overhaul its equipment to the latest Grass Valley technology.

“DNA Studios has been part of the Grass Valley landscape with cameras since 1996, when the first cameras we acquired were LDK series. Every broadcast truck we’ve ever owned and built has been based on the GV series of cameras. Continuing over 25 years of this relationship with the company and its support team was important to us,” said Sam Schrade, CEO. “These new
cameras give us the ability to switch to higher resolutions, provide better images, and utilize the C2IP network infrastructure for our REMI based clients.”

The new camera chains will support live news, sports and studio-based entertainment shows. The Houston area company also just opened their new broadcast studios and television facility. The LDX-92 series cameras provide advanced image capabilities and high-performance levels across multiple resolutions. The camera chains are currently being used for almost every
professional sporting event in America and also around the globe.

“Being able to grow and evolve as the client needs change was important to us and Grass Valley understood our needs and has great solutions for us,” said Schrade. We look forward to continuing to provide our network clients with the latest technology and will continue to bring you the greatest pictures, stories and emotion that we’ve come to expect with live broadcasting.”
