Riedel North America Makes Signficant Product Notifications With Director v8.3, MediorNet v7.3, MediorNet IP UHD Gateways v4.0

Riedel North America announces the releases of Director v8.3, MediorNet v7.3,  and MediorNet IP UHD Gateways v4.0.

Director v8.3 for Artist 1024
Director is the powerful and user-friendly configuration application used to configure Artist, which is a decentralized, scalable digital intercom network. Artist provides reliable communications and audio signal distribution for any audio or intercom application. Director makes this easier with its intuitive interface and drag and drop capabilities. Now Director and Artist-1024 also support the 1216 HL Expansion panel and the SMPTE 2022-7 connections between the Artist-1024 and the 1200 series SmartPanels make Riedel the only intercom vendor to provide seamless redundant panel connections!

This new version of MN TDM v7.3 brings additional features to MicroN UHD MultiViewer & MicroN UHD Standard App. Supported devices include, MicroN UHD, MicroN, MetroN, Compact Basic, Plus & Pro, and Modular.

MediorNet IP UHD Gateways v4.0

This New version of MN IP UHD Gateway APPs can be installed on the MuoN B and FusioN 3/6B devices and introduces important new features such as RS-FEC for the FusioN when running at 25GE media port rate. This new version comes with a new set of APPs with specific I/O direction for the FusioN.

New Features:

• Support of RS-FEC (25GE link protection)
• Audio vs Video delay compensation
• I/O SFP reporting to MN SET
• Free audio mapping on Encap
• Mroute fix: (ability to route a multicast back to the same port)
• Gratuitous ARP: (discovery)

Riedel’s NMOS Explorer

Networked Media Open Specifications (NMOS) is a set of specifications developed by Advanced Media Workflow Association (AMWA) that enable interoperability between media devices on an IP infrastructures. NMOS IS-04 provides identity or registration and discovery of IP devices. NMOS IS-05 covers the connection API for senders and receivers of IP streams.
