Encompass Digital Media joined forces with the U.S. military\u2019s Defense Video and Imagery Distribution System (DVIDS) to deliver the first, HD satellite feed from Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan, which was featured live during Fox Sports\u2019 Super Bowl XLV broadcast. The live footage shown during the Fox Sports broadcast featured deployed U.S. service members enjoying Sunday\u2019s big game.<\/p>\n

Since 2004, Encompass has been a partner in DVIDS\u2019 media operations. As a result, the military has been able to leverage video streaming and satellite transport technologies to produce broadcast-quality video, still images, and print materials. These packaged products are made available for real-time distribution via Encompass\u2019 satellite and fiber infrastructure.<\/p>\n
