The third-annual Sports Entertainment Summit – co-produced by Variety and the Sports Video Group – will be held on Aug. 15 at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. Explore the growing power of sports as an entertainment experience, as improving technology helps fans consume sports content across multiple platforms like never before. The event will feature a full day of informational panels and sessions, highlighted by an opening keynote conversation with Fox Sports Media Group Co-President and COO, Randy Freer, that will provide an inside look into the launch of the new 24-hour cable sports network, Fox Sports 1, on Aug. 17.
In addition to a full day of sessions addressing the ever-increasing value of sports content and how it is changing today’s media landscape, SVG will present a SportsPost LA track that will focus on the latest technological and creative developments in the sports-postproduction industry.
