Outdoor Sportsman Group’s Tom Caraccioli Promoted to VP of Communications

Outdoor Sportsman Group has promoted Tom Caraccioli to Vice President of Communications. Caraccioli has served as the Director of Communications since joining the company in September 2013. The announcement was made today by Outdoor Sportsman Group – Networks President & CEO Jim Liberatore.

Caraccioli will oversee all aspects of Outdoor Sportsman Group’s communications including: three television networks (Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel and World Fishing Network); Outdoor Sportsman Group – Integrated Media (19 websites and 15 outdoor lifestyle magazines), MyOutdoorTV (MOTV), as well television production operations – Winnercomm – and aerial camera businesses – SkyCam and CableCam.thomas-caraccioli3-1280x640

Caraccioli joined Outdoor Sportsman Group (formerly InterMedia Outdoors) in September 2013 after spending nearly three years working in the communications department of Turner Sports where he was involved with the promotion and publicity of the network’s NBA, MLB, NASCAR and PGA Championship properties. Caraccioli also has worked in the communications departments of NBC Sports and headed the sports communication department at USA Network. He started his career with the Boston Red Sox.

Along with his identical twin brother, Jerry (Executive Director of Communications, CBS Sports), he has co-authored two books: Central New York regional bestseller Striking Silver: The Untold Story of America’s Forgotten Hockey Team (Sports Publishing, 2006) and critically-acclaimed follow-up BOYCOTT: Stolen Dreams of the 1980 Moscow Olympic Games (New Chapter Press, 2008).

Caraccioli’s office is in New York City. He will continue to report to Sr. Vice President of Marketing Bill Osborn.
