Major League Baseball International (MLBI) and Fox Sports Latin America (FSLA) reach deal

Major
League Baseball International (MLBI) and Fox Sports Latin America (FSLA) have
extended their broadcast packages through the 2010 championship season.

As part of
the renewal agreement, FSLA, one of the top-rated sports television networks in

Latin America, will maintain their cable,
satellite television and high-definition television rights throughout the
region.

In key
markets, FSLA will have the rights to two regular season games each week,
including exclusive rights to one live game every Friday night and first choice
of games for live Saturday afternoon broadcasts. The extended agreement also
grants co-exclusive rights in key markets to the All-Star Game and the World
Series. Fox Sports Latin America will have exclusive cable and satellite TV
rights for half of the Division Series and one League Championship Series each
year, beginning with the American League Championship Series and alternating
Leagues each year through 2010. Fox Sports Latin America has been a Major
League Baseball International broadcast partner since 1996.

rosters than ever before, and with the many dynamic stars from
Latin America, Major League Baseball is thrilled to
continue coverage of MLB games in the region through 2010.”
