Maven Networks announces New Vice President of Marketing

Maven
Networks, Inc., a Internet TV platform company, announced the appointment of
Kristen Fergason to the role of vice president of marketing. Fergason will lead
all marketing efforts for the company including product marketing, public
relations, brand vision, marketing strategy and market development activities.

Fergason
was most recently VP of marketing at Major League Baseball Advanced Media
(MLBAM), where during a six year career she led all marketing activities for
MLB portal brands as well as other sports and music entertainment properties
managed by MLBAM. Her broad experience marketing and monetizing online video is
a critical asset as Maven continues to expand its customer base of top-tier
media companies.

During her
work with MLBAM, Fergason helped develop and bring to market the highly
successful MLB.TV product, delivering live and on-demand broadband video of
baseball games to millions of fans around the world. Throughout her tenure, Fergason
and her colleagues helped build the most successful sports organization on the
Internet, with revenue expected to hit $400 million by the end of 2007. Prior
to joining MLBAM, Fergason was marketing manager for the web-savvy Outpost.com,
an early pioneer and innovator in online retailing of consumer electronics.

“Maven is
changing the way media companies leverage video programming to drive new
advertising business models online,” said Hilmi Ozguc, founder and CEO, Maven
Networks. “Kristen’s senior leadership experience at MLBAM makes her the ideal
executive to help lead our company’s growth as a trusted technology partner to
the world’s leading media companies. We will look to her to communicate the
unmatched opportunities offered by Maven’s Internet TV platform, which is a
mission-critical component of our customers’ online video initiatives.”

“Enabling
consumers to view their most beloved video content via the Internet is an
incredibly fulfilling experience. I look forward to working closely with media
companies, advertisers and their agencies to help showcase and monetize their
own video libraries,” said Fergason, vice president of marketing, Maven
Networks. “Maven is the authority in Internet TV; the company’s thought
leadership and dedication to innovation inspired me to join their team.”
