Broadcast Veteran Keith Pelley Appointed President of 2010/2012 Olympic Coverage

CTV Inc.,
together with Rogers Media Inc., announced the appointment of Keith
Pelley, one of
Canada’s most
respected sports broadcast veterans, as President of the consortium that will
build and lead the strategic plan for coverage of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games
in Vancouver/Whistler and 2012 Olympic Summer Games in

London. The appointment becomes
effective following the 2007 Grey Cup.

The announcement marks the first step in the creation of the CTV-Rogers Olympic
consortium. In his new role, Pelley will be responsible for building the
organization, overseeing its day-to-day operations, the complete sales and
marketing initiatives surrounding the Games, and creating the multi-platform
Olympic coverage plan which includes all facets of production, scheduling and
the recruitment of on-air talent.

Pelley has excelled in the sports and sports broadcasting industries for 21 years, most
recently as President and CEO of the Toronto Argonauts, where under his
leadership, the team won a Grey Cup in his first full year with the
organization (2004). Prior to that, Pelley was President of TSN, capping
a 16-year tenure at

Canada’s leading specialty network. Throughout his career, Pelley has worked
extensively with amateur sports, including involvement in three Olympic Games:
2002 in Salt Lake City, 2000 in Sydney and 1996 in Atlanta. (See “About Keith Pelley” below.)

broadcast rights for the 2010 and 2012 Games and announced wall-to-wall plans
for more than 4,000 hours of coverage across multiple platforms; the most
comprehensive Olympic coverage ever for Canadians.
