TSN’s Cuthbert and Suitor to Call 2007 Grey Cup on Radio

TSN and
the CFL announced that the award-winning CFL on TSN broadcast team of Chris
Cuthbert and Glen Suitor will provide the play-by-play and game analysis for
the 2007 Grey Cup radio broadcast. The championship game, which takes
place Sunday, Nov. 25 in

will be broadcast on THE FAN Sports Radio Network.

and Suitor, who won a Gemini Award last year for Best Sports Play-By-Play or
Analyst for their work together on TSN’s CFL broadcasts, will continue to call
regular season games on TSN this year leading up to the Grey Cup.

and Suitor will call the Grey Cup on radio for this year only. Next year,
the two will call the championship game on television, when TSN takes over the
CFL’s entire 77-game package, including all regular season games, divisional
playoff matches and the Grey Cup.

year’s Grey Cup marks Cuthbert’s 10th time calling the championship game, but
his first time on radio. Cuthbert was the TV play-by-play announcer for
Grey Cup games from 1996 to 2004, and with this year’s game in

Ottawa. Cuthbert is
no stranger to the CFL on radio, having provided the radio play-by-play for the
Montreal Alouettes/Concordes from 1982 to 1984.

also has experience in the radio broadcast booth, working as an analyst on TSN
Radio during the 1994 Grey Cup in Vancouver and the 1996 Grey Cup in
Hamilton. Suitor’s broadcasting career actually began in radio, where he
was the sports director and morning co-host with CJME in

Regina from 1991 to 1993 while still playing
with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
