DigitalSpy.com reports that Former BBC director general Greg Dyke has said that 2011 is the time to make local TV happen, as it will “provide a real boost to local economies and local democracy across the UK.” Dyke, who was appointed to chair a local TV committee in October, made the comments in reaction to a major local TV report published yesterday.
