NAB 2001: NAC Image Technology Expands Hi-Motion Camera Line

NAC Image Technology will introduce the Hi-Motion II camera at the NAB Show in April. The Hi-Motion product family comprises HD ultra-slow-motion camera systems offering three-chip image-capture technology and dramatically improved image quality, camera light sensitivity, and workflow integration. The Hi-Motion II is equipped with a B4 mount and uses standard ENG or box lenses without the need for optical adapters. Incorporating broadcast-industry-standard camera electronics enables the Hi-Motion II to fit seamlessly into the workflow of sports-broadcast environments. The camera’s operation control panel provides a high-level “paint” function, enabling the user to adjust the camera’s image in the same way as other standard broadcast cameras. The Hi-Motion II also implements a flicker-correction function to reduce the effect of lighting flicker in ultra-high-speed images.
