SVG College Sports Summit: Preliminary Program Announced
The Sports Video Group is pleased to announce the preliminary event program for the 2014 SVG College Sports Video Summit, which will be held on May 28 and 29 at the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta, GA.
This year’s conference program will feature a full day of sessions on Wednesday May 28 with key leaders at college and university athletic departments, conference offices, and media networks discussing the hottest topics in sports technology including live event production, venue technology, big data, asset management, and more. Thursday May 29 offers three specialized workshop tracks that analyze best practices and workflows to help college sports programs expand their brand by raising the bar of their video offerings.

The 2014 SVG College Sports Summit is the top networking and professional-development conference in the college sports video industry. Celebrating its sixth year, the SVG College Sports Summit brings together the brightest minds in content creation with the most innovative technology manufacturers to discuss all budget levels of video production.
All attendees will also have the opportunity to meet with the top technology companies in the business in our exhibit hall where products and services geared towards the specific needs of the college-sports market ill be on display.
At the SVG College Sports Summit, we will recognize the year’s best in content creation as SVG and the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) celebrate the annual College Sports Media Awards. In addition, SVG will also honor the past, present, and future of the industry. In its third year, the SVG College Pioneer Award honors a man or woman who has dedicated their career to high-level college sports video. In its second year, the SVG/NACDA Technology Leadership Award is awarded to the university athletic department that has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to video technology.
