SoonerVision, The University of Oklahoma’s in-house television production department, has installed an HD-SDI connection to The Switch-Oklahoma City.

In April, SoonerVision was awarded the 2014 Sports Video Group and the National Association of Collegiate Directors Award for Athletics Technology Leadership.  This award recognized SoonerVision’s commitment to the investment in and execution of broadcast and video infrastructure technologies.

SoonerVision’s HD control rooms and studio are located on OU’s campus in the Oklahoma City area, within the Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Coliseum, home to the Oklahoma Sooners football team.  SoonerVision can offer HD and SD play outs and access to various standup positions.  As well, the operations center serves as a fiber hub connecting all of the university’s other athletic facilities.  SoonerVision can support live shots for OU’s renowned expert faculty, including contributors from its prestigious School of Meteorology.
