YES Network Earns 38 New York Emmy Award Nominations
Story Highlights
The YES Network was nominated for 38 New York Emmy Awards, giving it 384 Emmy Award nominations since its 2002 launch. YES has won a total of 80 Emmy Awards through last year’s competition. The 58th annual New York Emmy Awards will be announced Saturday, May 2.

Among the highlights:
· YES was nominated for the second straight year for both its series and single-game coverage for both the Yankees and Nets
· Yankees play-by-play man Michael Kay, Yankees analyst David Cone, Yankees reporter Meredith Marakovits, Nets play-by-play men Ian Eagle and Ryan Ruocco, Nets analyst Mike Fratello, studio host Bob Lorenz and Yankeeography: Moments of Glory host John Sterling all received nominations
· YES’ coverage of Derek Jeter’s final Yankees season garnered three nominations
· The network’s features and specials unit received multiple nominations, including those for a Yankees “Hope Week” feature, its Joe Torre Hall of Fame story, a piece on former Nets star Kenny Anderson, a feature on perfect games thrown by Yankees pitchers, its Foul Territory with Mark Teixeira features, and a story on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge
· YES’ Yankeeography franchise, which is produced in partnership with Major League Baseball Productions, received four nominations, giving the franchise 73 Emmy nominations since its 2002 debut
· CenterStage, YES’ flagship interview show, received two nominations
· YES’ on-air promotions group earned four nominations, the network earned three editing nominations, and its graphics department picked up two nominations
