IBC 2017: MultiDyne approved as certified opticalCON assembler for Neutrik opticalCON fiber cables

The launch of MultiDyne’s specialized Fiber Lab this spring has been a boost to the company’s position as a full-service provider of fiber transport solutions, bringing greater quality control in house through its own fiber cable termination work.  In addition to terminating SMPTE 304/305 and other tactical cables — as well as more basic assemblies including LC-Duplex and APC patches — MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems has announced that it has been approved as a certified opticalCON Assembler (COCA) for Neutrik opticalCON fiber cables.

MultiDyne joins a very small group of businesses approved to assemble the opticalCON range of rugged fiber-optic cables. With all assembly happening in the MultiDyne Fiber Lab, customers now have the option of purchasing all components of a complete fiber transport solution directly from MultiDyne or through its global dealer network — or simply purchasing new opticalCON cables to upgrade existing fiber systems.

In addition to joining the exclusive Neutrik COCA network, MultiDyne has also received training and approval to assemble LEMO tactical fiber cables in house, giving its customers even more choices for high-quality fiber cables.

MultiDyne will be on hand to demonstrate and discuss Neutrik and LEMO cable assemblies as part of its overall fiber transport business strategy at IBC2017, taking place September 15-19 at the Amsterdam RAI. MultiDyne exhibits at Stand 11.D40.
