Scott Hempstead Joins Communications Engineering Inc. as Senior Design Engineer

Communications Engineering Inc. (CEI) has announced that Scott Hempstead has joined the company as Senior Design Engineer. Hempstead will focus on designing broadcast and media systems, on-site engineering, system testing and commissioning, installation oversight, equipment research, system configuration, and project management for CEI.

Hempstead brings over 17 years of professional broadcast engineering experience in systems design, construction, commissioning, project management, and client training for small and large-scale facilities. He has experience with a wide array of project aspects ranges from conducting workflow analysis and proposal development to infrastructure assessment and complete facility design and buildout. Hempstead has a proven track record for leading successful project efforts while maintaining budget and scheduling requirements.

Before joining CEI, Hempstead was Senior Design Engineer with HA Design Group where he played an active role in transitioning facilities from an SDI base band architecture to an IP transport centric architecture. Prior, Hempstead was Design Engineer at Ascent Media where he created system design documentation for all aspects pertaining to analog/digital audio formats, analog/digital video formats, furniture design, facility layout, power configurations, and control system designs.
