TVU Networks Assists AD Digital With IP, Live Streaming Solutions
AD Digital, a system integrator with over 23 years of market expertise, announces a partnership with TVU Networks to offer TVU’s family of IP live video solutions within AD Digital’s Infrastructure, Production, Playout, and Exhibition Business Unit. The new partnership will allow AD Digital to couple its team of specialized professionals with TVU’s live video acquisition, production, distribution, and management products to serve Brazilian broadcasters.
“AD Digital is well known in Brazil for its knowledgeable staff and the breadth of expertise they offer,” says Rafael Castillo, VP/GM, Latin America, TVU Networks. “We are happy and excited to be working with them to introduce our offerings to this important market. We look forward to the outstanding service they’ll provide our existing and new customers in the region.”
With viewer demand for more live content, media, and entertainment companies are compelled to make live content processing and acquisition as fast as possible. TVU solutions are designed to streamline a broadcaster’s workflow so that superior video content can be delivered to viewers faster and with increased customization.
TVU recently introduced the concept of Media 4.0 and TVU MediaMind. Media 4.0 describes the ability to customize video per the specific requirements and tastes of individual consumers and its distribution through an automated process. AI engines recognize video content and automate its creation and distribution to cell phones, streaming to the Internet, television, and social media channels. TVU MediaMind is TVU’s answer to this technical evolution. It consists of TVU Contribution Automation, TVU AI Engine, TVU Real-Time Search Engine, TVU Workflow Engine, and TVU Producer. From the start of the video production process, all video is immediately indexed based on its metadata by TVU MediaMind’s AI real-time search engine. Using an entirely cloud-based model complete with voice and object recognition, live, and preproduced video clips are located and indexed down to the exact frame and can be shared instantly.
To Felipe Andrade, Head of the Infrastructure Business Unit at AD Digital, the union of these technologies and AD Digital’s services will provide the market with huge benefits: “Our partnership with TVU allows us to not only enter the mobile signal transmission market, but also to navigate through several other services like remote production, IP routing and distribution, social media integration, and asset control and management.”
