Co-sponsored by Seagate Technology, Teradek, and the Sports Video Group’s Silicon Valley Video Initiative, the event is for players of all experience levels. Participants can receive an introductory lesson at 7 p.m. ET, 30 minutes before the official 7:30 p.m. ET start.
“This is our way of saying thank you to the industry at large and providing an opportunity to kick off the holiday season with something fun and different. We’re looking forward to enjoying each other’s company after what has been a stressful year for everyone,” says ASG President Dave Van Hoy. “And we couldn’t be happier to produce this event alongside our friends at Seagate, Teradek and SVG. SVG’s Silicon Valley Video Initiative is supporting Poker Night as part of its Sports Broadcasting Fund, which assists sports production professionals experiencing severe financial loss.”
Each virtual table seats 12 players. Winners from each table move on to the next round. A separate bracket will accommodate the losing players but ensures everyone can continue. All players can remain online and interact with each other throughout the tournament. Each participant will receive a gift box containing three bottles of whiskey.
SVG is proud to sponsor this industry event in support of the SVG Sports Broadcasting Fund, which provides first response relief to industry members in times of need. To donate to the SVG Fund this holiday season, click HERE.
