SVG On Demand: Key Industry Leaders Tackle Next-Gen Technologies in SVG Australia Summit Roundtable

National Rugby League's Quanah McBride; Foxtel's Cora Spear, Foxtel; and NEP Australia's Soames Treffry shared their perspectives

For the first time since prior to the COVID-19 outbreak in early 2020, Sports Video Group returned to Sydney for the SVG Australia Summit. Hosted at the Telstra Customer Insight Centre in Sydney on June 1, the event was an opportunity for the Australian sports production community to come together for an afternoon of networking and information exchange around the topic of the future of the sports TV production and distribution.

In one of the spotlight sessions from the 2022 SVG Australia Summit, key leaders from the local sports production community shared their thoughts on the most pressing issues facing the industry in a roundtable format. The group also tackled key questions such as what next-generation technologies are of most interest to them? And what are some recent production highlights from their respective organizations?

Quanah McBride, National Rugby League, General Manager, Digital Technology & Operations
Cora Spear, Foxtel, Group Director of Streaming Operations
Soames Treffry, NEP Australia, President
