SoFi Stadium And Hollywood Park Appoints Travis Sampson As New Senior Vice President And Chief Technology Officer

SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park has appointed Travis Sampson as its new Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. Hollywood Park is a near 300-acre mixed-use development being built in Inglewood, Calif., by Los Angeles Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke and includes: SoFi Stadium, YouTube Theater, American Airlines Plaza, as well as retail, office, residences and additional park space under development.

Sampson will oversee technology, including its implementation and infrastructure, across SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park. Additionally, he will oversee the Technology and Broadcast departments, focusing on bringing to life a seamless, connected fan experience through cutting-edge technology, as well as driving strategic efficiencies site-wide.

Prior to joining SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park, Sampson served as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for BSE Global. While there, Sampson led technology across all BSE Global properties and teams, including BSE Global’s corporate offices and the HSS Training Facility in Industry City, Barclays Center, Brooklyn Nets, New York Liberty and their NBA G League affiliate, the Long Island Nets, and the Nets’ NBA 2K League team, NetsGC.

During his time with BSE Global, Sampson was responsible for designing and implementing the technology strategy and vision for Barclays Center. He also impacted the guest experience at the venue by collaborating on the development and implementation of the “Netaverse.” The technology was responsible for digitizing the player experience in partnership with the NBA, Canon, YES Network and the Brooklyn Nets.
