University of Michigan, IMG Reach Deal With 15 Seconds of Fame

15 Seconds of Fame (15SOF) has reached a deal with the University of Michigan and IMG to bring 15SOF’s technology and social media app to Ann Arbor for the coming school year. 15SOF’s unique platform will allow Michigan students, alumni, and fans who are filmed on camera at games to receive the clips on their smart phones and share them on social media.  This year, in addition to basketball, 15SOF will cover football games at The Big House, which is the largest stadium in the country, as well other school events, such as pep rallies and graduation.

“As the first college or professional organization to use the 15 Seconds of Fame fan engagement app, Michigan Athletics is thrilled to expand our partnership,” says Kurt Svoboda, Associate Athletic Director for External Communications and Public Relations. “The app provides a unique way for Michigan fans to capture, preserve, and share their memories.”

“We are excited to continue our relationship with one of the preeminent universities and sports programs in the country, a place that has special meaning for 15 Seconds of Fame since we tested our first-mover product — with the help of its great student body — there.  We look forward to delivering incredible memories to students and alumni across many different use cases, both sports and non-sports,” adds Brett Joshpe, CEO of 15SOF.
