NewTek Heads to Austin for SXSW Interactive Festival

NewTek will exhibit at booth #314 at the 2011 South by Southwest Interactive Festival in Austin, TX, on March 14-17 Newtek will present the TriCaster TCXD850 HD portable live production system (US$24,995), 3PLAY multi-channel HD/SD slow motion replay system (US$21,995), and LightWave 10, the company’s 3D animation and effects software (A full license for LightWave 10 is US$895).
NewTek will also showcase the TriCaster TCXD850 CS hardware control surface (US$5,995), which provides users with a physical connection to the 24-channel production system, as well as TriCaster Virtual Set Editor (VSE), which allows TriCaster TCXD850 and TriCaster TCXD300 users to customize TriCaster HD virtual sets to fit their production needs at US$995.
Additionally, TriCaster will power the following productions from SXSW:
- March 12-13, 1 p.m. “The Tech Guy,” Leo Laporte will be broadcasting live to the internet, via TWiT Live
- March 12, Revision3’s Diggnation — The popular tech culture show will produce its weekly show from SXSW and post video on their website for on-demand viewing.
- March 16, 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.: Taylor Guitars and Hello Music will co-host live music performances from Austin’s Rusty Spur. Featuring 10 bands on two stages.
- March 16, Chicken Ranch Records will stream live an all-day showcase of performances by artists from their label.
