Story Highlights
Florida International University Athletics’ recent broadcast of their Homecoming Game against Old Dominion received a boost with the introduction of the AJT Systems’ LiveBook GFX Scorebug System.
“We were very excited for the opportunity to work with a local school, especially one as committed to enhancing their broadcasts as FIU Athletics,” said AJT Systems’ President, Ron Linares. “In working with their staff we saw a true passion for production, and we’re happy to be a part of that.”
The Award-Winning LiveBook GFX Scorebug Solution is the most high end score bug available in a lap top form factor, with category-leading ease of use. The one-of-a-kind UI allows for previewing graphics/animations before taking them to air, real-time output monitoring via the program window, and preloaded leagues with teams and rules defined to assist in quickly setting up games while minimizing operator error.
“We chose AJT Systems’ scorebug solution for its high end graphic capabilities, its ease of use, and its flexible nature that allowed it to be smoothly integrated into our evolving production environment,” said FIU Athletics Assistant Sports Information Director and Video Coordinator, Brian Duval.
FIU Athletics, a member of Conference USA, is home to more than 400 student-athletes in 18 different sports. Their PantherVision network is committed to broadcasting content for their fans, and given that FIU’s Ocean Bank Field is often home to conference games, they’ll have an even larger stage to showcase their production capabilities. And with the professional 3D full animation graphics and state of the art features provided by the LiveBook GFX, PantherVision is sure to deliver these broadcasts to their viewers in a compelling and visually stunning way.
